I'm a software engineer. This site is my corner of the web for long-form notes, mostly about the homelab and media stack I run, the small tools I build around it, and whatever I'm learning along the way.
What I work on
By day I build the technology that powers insurance at Steadily, a landlord-insurance specialist in the US. I work on the systems behind the policies.
Before Steadily I spent a decade or so shipping customer-facing products: leading teams and event-driven backends at OJO Labs (Movoto), React apps for social software at Spredfast (Khoros), and mobile data-security tooling at IBM. The throughline has always been durable systems, things that keep working long after the launch.
